There’s no need to panic about canine care when you’re going on holiday, as our team provide comfortable dog boarding kennels for competitive prices. Our kennel block is cosy and heated for maximum comfort, and each pen has an indoor sleeping area and an outdoor covered run, which should be useful for the most energetic of pooches! All our kennels are large enough for 2 medium and 3 small dogs. For larger families, we have several bigger kennels which should accommodate your needs.
We provide plastic beds with comfy Vetbed and blankets for your dog(s). However, it is a good idea to bring some of your pet’s bedding with a familiar smell. This helps them feel at home in an otherwise unfamiliar environment. Their favourite toys and chews will also help them settle in.
Our team feed the dogs on a twice-daily basis. However, if your pet requires a different amount, please let us know. We’re happy to keep to their existing routine. All we ask is that you clearly mark their own food with their name and feeding instructions. If your pet is on a special diet, please let us know!
All dogs are walked on Flexi leads twice daily. We walk them in our own fields or along the adjoining quiet country lane, individually or as a family group. Please ensure your dog is wearing a collar and an identity tag.
All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. The Kennel Cough vaccination is also required. Please ask your vet for this, as it will not be given along with the routine booster unless you request it. This is a live vaccine, so please allow at least ten days before bringing your dog to the kennels to avoid putting others at risk.
You are requested to fill out and sign a consent form when you arrive. Please bring along your dog’s Vaccination Record with you for inspection. Please also make sure that your dog’s flea and worming treatments are up to date.
We are happy to administer medication at no extra cost. Please ensure that all medication is in the prescription packaging, labelled with instructions of dosage and the time to be given, alongside any important information.
Should your pet become unwell during their stay, and if we feel veterinary attention is required, we always endeavour to use your own vet. However, if this is not possible for any reason, we use our own vet. You will be responsible for all vet fees that are incurred.
Please Note: While every care and attention is given, your pet/s are boarded at your own risk. Should injury occur due to your pet’s own behaviour, you are liable for any veterinary fees incurred.
